The Sugar Boat

As a boy in Calcutta, the docks were my favourite place to visit. This is where my dad would sail in, on cargo ships. We used to visit.

I took this picture near the Redpath Sugar Factory in Toronto. The way the ship rose to my sight as I cycled towards it reminded me of the giant hulls of the cargo freighters of my childhood.
